Ukrainian Park Catholic Children's Camp
Guided by the Archeparchy of Winnipeg, the mission of Ukrainian Park Catholic Children's Camp is to offer a safe, enriching, and fun camp experience centered around the Ukrainian Catholic faith.
Soak in the beauty of the Ukrainian Catholic Church during a week of camp that strikes a great balance of faith and fun! Each day campers build friendship while enjoying sports, art, beach time, campfire and more. And every day campers are invited to deepen their relationship with God through prayer, liturgy, catechesis, and putting their faith into action.
The Archeparchy of Winnipeg's overnight summer camp takes place each year at Ukrainian Park, located on the west shore of Lake Winnipeg just 9.5 km north of Gimli. We offer one week of Children's Camp and one week of Teen Camp in early July. A team of dedicated staff and volunteers provide programming in both English and Ukrainian to ensure that everyone feels welcome.

CAMP REGISTRATION
Camp Registration is open from March 1 to May 31 each year. You can register here!
STAFF AND VOLUNTEERS
We are always looking for new team members! Our staff and volunteers include assistant directors, lifeguards, counselors, counselors in training, adult volunteers, and a nurse/medic. Applications are accepted from February to April.
UKRAINIAN PARK KITCHEN TEAM
Ukrainian Park hosts three camps during the first two weeks of July: Ukrainian Park Catholic Children's Camp, Plast, and CYM. That's a lot of hungry people! Will you join the team who feeds them? We are looking for a cook, kitchen volunteers, and dishwasher. We are also hiring a Kitchen Administrator to help with planning, groceries, and finances. The administrator will have flexible hours and can work from home. Please apply by March 15th.

Each year we host several campers who require financial assistance. We also work hard to enhance our programming each year while keeping the registration fees low. Please prayerfully consider making a donation that will help a child go to camp! You can send an e-transfer to finance@archeparchy.ca or write a cheque to "Archeparchy of Winnipeg" with the memo Children's Camp Fee Donation.

The Ukrainian Park Catholic Children's Camp takes place each year at the Ukrainian Park grounds which is located on the west shore of Lake Winnipeg, just 9.5 km north of Gimli. It runs for two separate weeks for youth and children respectively. The three-fold focus of the camp is FAITH, FRIENDS & FUN. Take the opportunity to grow in the Ukrainian Catholic faith through dynamic prayer, hands on learning, and an environment centered on Christ. Hang out with your new best friends, bask in the glory of your awesome counsellors, and know that the adult staff and volunteers are all set to make sure you have the best home away from home.
