LET US PRAY TO THE LORD!
April 26, 2020
If your parish has not yet developed an adequate method for live-streaming or posting previously-recorded Liturgies and events - please take advantage of the services at parishes that have. This is especially important as long as parish liturgies and events remain "closed to the public" (Directives 4, §5). Needless to say, your support of your local parish in what every way possible should be ongoing. Yet we need to nourish our souls and stay in touch with the Church. The internet is providing us many opportunities to participate in services, conferences, films and even interactive discussions. However, dearest to our hearts and central to our Faith is the Eucharistic or Divine Liturgy and the Word of God preached in that context. This is available from several of our parishes within the Archeparchy and our Archbishop, His Grace, Metropolitan Lawrence Huculak, himself intends to celebrate such a Divine Liturgy and preach a message at least every Sunday.
Explore what is available in your Archeparchy throughout the province of Manitoba.
Please find below the parishes that we are aware of that are offering some broadcasting of their liturgical life through various social media. We would like to offer a more complete detailed list of the services of all the parishes and how you can participate in them. However, at present we are happy to offer you the access information availble to us - websites where you will find the schedule of services and events, and direct links to their social media platforms.... ENJOY!
