HOLY THURSDAY SERVICES AT HOLY FAMILY PARISH

This year the Holy Thursday services will be held at the Holy Family parish in Winnipeg on March 28, at 10 AM. Metropolitan Lawrence Huculak will be the main celebrant at the Divine Liturgy of St. Basil the Great, followed by the traditional Washing of Feet, which Bishop Andriy will perform. Fr. Volodymyr Bashutskyy has been requested to represent Peter during the Washing of Feet, and Deacon Stefan Tyrawski will assist in both the Divine Liturgy and the Washing of Feet ceremony.
These services commemorate the day when Jesus Christ our Lord instituted the Holy Eucharist and Holy Priesthood and performed washing of His Apostles' feet as a sign of extreme humility and love. Everyone is encouraged to come and participate in the Divine Liturgy and witness washing of feet.
