Say a Prayer and Light a Candle

This year we commemorate 90th anniversary of Holodomor in Ukraine. Saturday, November 25, 2023 at 1:00 p.m. Winnipeg City Hall, 510 Main Street: National and International Holodomor Famine Genocide Memorial Day at the Roman Kowal's Holodomor Memorial monument.
We invite community leaders members of Ukrainian Churches, Ukrainian youth groups, schools, organizations and community at large for a Prayer - Panachyda memorial service with Winnipeg clergy in memory of all of the innocent victims of the genocide against Ukrainians.
The prayer service will be followed by a special program to commemorate the 90th Anniversary of Holodomor at the City Hall.
In recognition of the 1932-33 Holodomor years, ring your church bells and light candles of remembrance in your windows at 7:32 p.m. - 7:33 p.m. (19:32 - 19:33) while observing a moment of silence.
