This year's National Week for Life and the Family is spread across a beautiful week in Spring - from the 7th to the 14th of May 2023. The three Catholic Archbishops who have their chanceries in today's Winnipeg - our Archeparchy of Winnipeg, the Archdiocese of St. Boniface and the Archdiocese of Winnipeg, together with a group of representatives from each of the three jurisdictions, have collaborated again this year to produce an amazing resource kit for us to celebrate this NWLF 2023 in Manitoba! Go to the special website that was established a few years back - lifeandthefamily.com - and there you will find a lot of useful information that you can adapt for your particular parish setting as well as the wider community that you serve (your neighbourhood, the newcomers, the elderly in various care homes, etc.).

The Focus this year is on our grandparents and the elderly in general. We really want to - and we need to - show our love and appreciation for the elderly and, especially for our grandparents who have done so much for us (and, amazingly, want to do so much more).
