Ukrainian Catholic Youth & Young Adults (UCY/YA)

The Youth and Young Adult Ministry is dedicated to the education and enlightenment of young people in the teachings of the Ukrainian Catholic Church.

This ministry has devoted people working with young people from teenagers to young adults in their early 40's. We continue to work on strengthening ourselves and the church community as a whole in all aspects of Christ's teachings. In the past we have worked on community outreach, educating our young people, personal growth dealing with social skills, virtues and helping the young people to find and use the gifts that God has bestowed upon them. We hope to continue offering all that this Ministry has to impart for future generations.

The Ukrainian Catholic Youth began in 1945 in Winnipeg, MB, and the other Eparchies followed a few years later. There are 5 centers in Canada ~ 3 with a paid youth director (Winnipeg, Saskatoon, and Edmonton) and 2 with volunteer contacts (Vancouver, Toronto). There is no membership list.
