UKRAINIAN BISHOPS IN WASHINGTON DC

His Beatitude Sviatoslav Shevchuk, Father and Headof the Ukrainian Greek Catholic Church, accompanied by five bishops of the Permanent Synod, will be in Washington, D.C. from March 3 to March 6, 2024. On Sunday, March 3 at 10:30 AM His Beatitude Sviatoslav Shevchuk will celebrate the Divine Liturgy at the Ukrainian Catholic National Shrine of the Holy Family in Washington, D.C. The Archbishop of Washington, Cardinal Wilton Gregory, with the head of the US Catholic Conference of Bishops Archbishop Timothy Broglio and Cardinal Donald Wuerl, Archbishop Emeritus of Washington, will take part in the Divine Liturgy.

Throughout their stay, His Beatitude and the members of the Permanent Synod will meet the US government officials to address the ongoing war in Ukraine and the pressing need to protect religious freedom in occupied teritories by russia in Ukraine.For more information click HERE
