3. Social Development (Canadian Citizenship): To expand the understanding of Christian moral norms and values in everyday life, deepen the sense of civic responsibility among members, and initiate and support social action programs that exemplify Christian ideals and values of justice and love, especially concerning the sanctity of human life and the sanctity of the family.

4. Charitable Activities: To participate in the service of humanity and society, carry out charitable works for the poor and sick, and offer mutual aid aimed at satisfying various human needs and assisting groups and communities.

Organizational Structure

The UCWLC has a three-tier structure, including the Central Office, eparchial boards, and local branches, which collectively number about 5,000 members. Local branches exist in almost every parish of the Archeparchy.

The organization is part of larger structures, such as the Ukrainian Canadian Congress and the World Federation of Ukrainian Women’s Organizations, and plays a key role in supporting the Ukrainian community in Canada. Its contributions to preserving Ukrainian identity and heritage are undeniable and continue to inspire new generations of Ukrainians in Canada.
