Along the shores of Lake Winnipeg just past Gimli is a place of peace, beauty and prayer. Ukrainian Park. Ukrainian Park is an expansive property which provides facilities for group rentals, trailer leases, summer camps and recreation.

The Ukrainian Park Campground is owned and operated by the Ukrainian Catholic Episcopal Corporation of Manitoba. It endeavors to facilitate a culturally enriching, aesthetically pleasing, and ecologically sound environment for community gatherings. The Ukrainian Park Advisory Board places a special emphasis on recreation and educational activities for youth, enabling them to grow in Christian virtues and values.

Summer Camp and Rental Facilities

Enjoy the newly renovated commercial kitchen and pine panelled banquet hall. Sliding barn doors allow renters to easily enlarge the space or create two separate areas. A fully equipped adjacent room offers a convenient serving station or bar.

Chapel of St. Volodymyr

The Chapel of St. Volodymyr serves as the spiritual center of Ukrainian Park. During the summer months, the chapel holds Divine Liturgy and remains open for prayer and reflection. The building, crafted from wood, showcases the Carpathian style of the Byzantine tradition, blending cultural heritage with spiritual ambiance.

The chapel not only provides a serene environment for individual contemplation but also stands as a testament to the rich Ukrainian Catholic traditions. Visitors and parishioners alike are welcome to immerse themselves in its peaceful atmosphere and historical significance.

Park Passes

Ukrainian Park is offering seasonal passes for all who wish to visit. If you have a lease with the park, a pass will be provided. The seasonal pass fee is nominal and covers the entire season, aiding in the upkeep and maintenance of the park. Passes are valid from the May long weekend through the October long weekend.

Vehicle Pass Requirements:

– All motor vehicles must display a valid Ukrainian Park vehicle pass while visiting.
– Motorcyclists must also have a valid park entry pass in their possession.
– Park passes must show the matching vehicle license plate number and be clearly displayed on the vehicle’s windshield.

Purchasing Passes:
– Passes are available at the park, and staff will accept cash or cheque.
– For e-transfer payments, please contact parkdirect@archeparchy.ca at least 48 hours in advance.

The park pass fee is $20.00 for the season. Come and join us at the beautiful shore of Lake Winnipeg!
