FUNERAL SERVISister Adrienne Charanduk of the Sisters Servants of Mary Immaculate was laid to rest in the Sisters' section of the Basilian Fathers' Holy Family Cemetery in West Saint Paul just north of the city of Winnipeg. This took place on the first Friday of the Great Fast of 2018. This was followed with a reception back in the city at which a hot meal was served and eulogies were delivered by Sr. Adrianne's religious community and her family.

Sister Adrianne reposed in the Lord on 11 February 2018 at her congregation's principal residence in Winnipeg - Bethany Home - adjacent to the nursing home facility that the Sisters operate - Holy Family Home. A parastas service was led on Thursday evening 15 February at Bethany Home by Metropolitan Lawrence Huculak. Fr. Andrew Wach, LSEO preached the homily at this service. Father Wach has reguarded Sr. Adrienne as a close friend and inspiration since she worked with him during his service as the Rector of Holy Spirit Seminary in the 1980s.

The following day, for the funeral services at Saint Nicholas parish Church in Winnipeg, Metropolitan Lawrence was joined by eight priests and other clergy in the congregation as well as a many of Sr Adrianne's religious Sisters and relatives that travelled from Saskatchewan and Ontario, as well as many friends and associates from over the years. Metropolitan Lawrence delivered the homily himself during which he drew upon the Gospel event when Jesus and His Disciples visited Bethany and they were hosted by the two sisters Mary and Martha. The Metropolitan explained how Sr. Adrianne in her life and ministry exemplified the charisms of both sisters. A niece read the Epistle while Lesia Sianchuk of the Sisters' Lubov Foundation lead the singing throughout the morning.

Following the "bidding farewell" or final viewing, the coffin, containing Sister Adrianne's earthly remains, was escorted to Holy Family Cemetery where the graveside service and interment was held.

The traditional funeral 'tryzna' luncheon was held back at the lower auditorium of St. Nicholas Parish. Local superior Sr. Darleane Pelechaty served as the MC for the brief program. Father John Sianchuk, opened with a prayer. Sr. Christina Syrotynsky, the Provincial Superior of the SSMI in Canada, spoke on behalf of the Sisters. This was followed a personal eulogy and acknowledgement spoken by one of Sr. Adrianne's nephews from Mississauga, Darryl Charanduk. Fr. Michael Kwiatkowski led the closing prayer.
