Second Fundraising Breakfast for the Home of Hope in Lviv, Ukraine

February 17, 2015

The Ukrainian Catholic Women’s League of Canada, Archeparchy of Winnipeg is extending thanks and appreciation to UCWLC members and to all parishioners for their contribution towards the Second Fundraising Breakfast for the Home of Hope in Lviv, Ukraine. It is thanks to the donations of UCWLC Branches and Maple Leaf Meats that we did not incur any expense in preparing the breakfast. Our proceeds from tickets sales, donations, and raffle totaled $29,000.00 with more donations still pending. The Home of Hope is owned and operated by the Sisters Servants of Mary Immaculate (SSMI) who provide the day-to-day care for its occupants. You can be assured that your support of the Home of Hope Safe House will make a profound difference in the lives of the girls who are living there and will save them from life on the streets where they can fall victim to human traffickers. Those who still wish to make a donation to the Home of Hope can do so by sending their donation to Lubov SSMI Foundation Inc., 1085 Main Street, Winnipeg, Manitoba, R2W 3S1
