IMAGE OF OUR LADY OF FATIMA BROUGHT TO LVIV CHURCH

UKRAINE PREPARES FOR HISTORIC MARCH 25TH CONSECRATION

Metropolitan Ihor Vozniak, CSsR leads a prayer event in one of Lviv's largest churches. The "traveling" statue, one of a few statues that was crafted to convey the appearance of the Mother of God to three children at Fatima, Portugal, is making its way around war-torn Ukraine. The special Marian prayer service was concluded with the Metropolitan-Archbishop offering a detailed explanation of the apparitions at Fatima where the Blessed Virgin Mary in fact asked that the Holy Father, the Pope, together with all the Bishops of the world would consecrated Russia "to her Immaculate Heart". This has been done in the past, however, the present climate of Russia's unexpected, unprovoked and merciless war on the Ukrainian nation has motivated the Church around the world to rally together to dedicate Russia, Ukraine and all people to the Mother of God.

The whole world seems to be anxiously looking forward to the event that will take place on the Feast of the Annunciation at Rome and Fatima. See more information [HERE].
