Cлава Ісусу Христу! Glory be to Jesus Christ!

In anticipation of the upcoming 64th Annual Cooks Creek Pilgrimage, I wanted to share with you the exciting news that we are presently coordinating the opportunity to have a group of people make a pilgrimage from outside Winnipeg (meeting at Garven Road and Hwy 59) to Immaculate Conception Parish.

We will be making our pilgrimage Friday, August 17 2018. This is a wonderful opportunity for the Ukrainian Catholic Faithful of the Archeparchy to begin their weekend in prayer and contemplation as they offer this pilgrimage to the Mother of God for their intentions. Our group will likely arrive at the parish around 5:30pm, and join the faithful for Rosary and Divine Liturgy.

Seeing as this is a relatively new, we do not expect extravagant numbers of people. Our hope is that this pilgrimage will excite and interest some of the young people in our Church. However, this is open to anybody who is able to make the 25km pilgrimage. We would humbly ask that if need be, anyone who requires a place to park be able to park their vehicle at the church prior to our pilgrimage.

I have attached a poster which will be shared among the faithful in the Archeparchy. The Chancellor of the Archeparchy, Fr. Michael Kwiatkowski has given his approval for this pilgrimage and it is our sincerest hope this may bring even more people to the Annual Cooks Creek Pilgrimage.

If you have any questions or concerns, please don't hesitate to contact me at 204-338-7801 ex. 4, or via this e-mail address.

In Christ,

Alex Pankiw
